Hej!

Hej!

Hey there!

I am currently on the travel team for the University of Michigan swim team, the most successful athletic program in the history of American college athletics. Last year we placed 7th at the national championships, not one of our best finishes. I am proud to be apart of this team and it is my goal to finish in the top 8 individually at our national championships in March 2011.

I am also currently in the process of trying to get my Swedish citizenship because my family is from Malmö and I hope to represent Sweden in the London Games in 2012. This means I will have to visit Sweden soon so I need some tips for when I do, any advice?!

One thing I hear over and over again about Sweden is that it has some of the best coffee one can find. This is intriguing to me because I am originally from Seattle, Washington the "coffee capital of the world," my mother is also a partner at Starbucks so coffee is in my blood and it would be fantastical if Sweden's coffee is as good as I have heard!

I hope to here from you soon!

Alexander

  1. Wow! You're really an amazing swimmer! I hope you can win some medals for Sweden! :P Hmmm...You should visit Helsingborg when you go to Sweden, cuz then you can meet up with us! :) Otherwise I reallt don't know what there is to see in Sweden. You get som blind when you like here, but I'm sure some of the other guys in my class has some good tips! I've never heard about this coffee thing though, maybe because I hate coffee xD

  2. You're a swimmer! That's great. I've been swimming myself since I was a baby until just a few years ago. My sister and brother have been swimmers aswell, but my brother went for the ice-hockey-career instead. And my sister ended her swimming-career just this summer to go study in Georgia :)

I love coffee, but I wouldn't agree about Sweden having the best coffee in the world. (But then again I'm not very impartial since I'm a huuuge Starbucks-fan!)
