In english: We have a swedish version of Halloween called Allhelgonadagen, though I have to say that it's not any fun at all. The day is mostly dedicated to remembering the dead, being at the cemetary etc. So, nowadays most swedes celebrate an american halloween instead! :)
We wear costumes just like you (Pulling out those fangs! :P) and the kids go for bus-eller-godis (Trick-or-treat). Those damn kids aren't always that nice though, a couple of years ago they threw a bunch of eggs at our house just because we didn't have any candy at that time :P (Note to self - Don't do diets on Halloween)
I don't know what it is, but Halloween has never been something I have been intersested in, and luckily for us we have never had someone visiting us asking for trick or treat. That is probably just because our house is a bit strange, it is an old farm in the middle of a common neighborhood. We have a similar tradition though, at easter we dress up as witches and walk around asking for sweets and hand out cards or sing a song. That is a much nicer tradition I think.! Happy Halloween (in two weeks!!)
