Hej igen!

Scott

hejsan allihopa everybody!

I'm Emma Arenbo, I'm 17 years old and I live in a suburb to Helsingborg called Lerberget with my parents, my brothers and my weirdo-dog Polly .

I'm in the same Senior class at Campeon Frigymnasium as all the other swedes as you probably will guess! My favorite classes are communication, English, psychology and law studies and I'm thinking about studying psychology, law or medicine at uni later on.

I enjoy listening to music, like Bon Iver, MGMT, U2, Air and random electro music - mostly like this, hanging out with my friends and my boyfriend, partying, exercising at the local gym - especially core-training and yoga, photographing, MUN (Model United Nations, yes I'm a bit geeky sometimes but I find it very interesting), baking and cooking, travelling and outdoor-life like hiking, skiing in the Alps, canoeing and scouting with my little lovely troop of small and annoying eight year old cubs and brownies.

I think that I'm an outgoing, curious and positive person that loves life but sucks at writing interesting introductions about myself, haha! So, if you have any questions, or comments or whatever, just tell me, and if you want, you can always add me on Facebook!

xx

this is me (surprise surprise!)

this is me (to the left) and two of my best friends when we were in Berlin

and, as a proper finishing, some swedish humour that might be useful (eeerh, or not!)

Oh, hello!

My name is Embla, I’m almost eighteen years old (only one month left!) and I’m crazy happy most of the time. Except for those days when you don’t want to leave bed, but then I just don’t. Those subjects in school that I appreciate most are actually all of them as long as I can write; I love to express myself through writing. Of course there are times when you’re studying a terribly boring part of a course, but it’s important to remember that every task contributes to your development.

I live north of Helsingborg in a small village called Viken, it’s situated along the seaside with a really nice beach and a charming little port. I live with my mother, father and little brother Adam, but the favorite member of the family is our lovely and wild turtle! His (or her? Kind of hard to know.) name is Jönsson.

On my spare time I study, read books, letting my creative part live out through photos and text, training or hanging out with my great friends. I love listening to music but unfortunately my creative mind doesn’t go that far. This summer I visited two music festivals, they were the two greatest weeks of my summer; to dance and drink beer all daaay and all night. Next summer I’m planning lots of more trips, right now I don’t really know where but probably through Europe. Eventually I want to spend some time in both North and South America, but that kind of trip requires a lot more work. More about that later, I'm looking forward to get to know you all!

Oh crap, another swede..

Oh, i'm such a poser..

Hi everybody! (say it just like Dr. Nick Riviera in the Simpsons, hehe..)

My name is Christina Chis, i'm 18 years old and live in the southern part of Sweden in a small village called Hyllinge near Helsingborg.
I'm on my third and last year as a so called "Campeonit", that's what students at Campeon are called and kinda just loving life.
I have a tattoo on my ribs, just love tattoos.. I'm getting one more this friday and i'm so excited.
And in contrast to my other classmates I don't do sports. I just wasn't made for it.
Well, I used to play football but they cut our team and sometimes go to the gym, but that's only when I feel guilty for eating too many cookies..
You see, I'm a cookie monster and I love to cook and bake.
Now it probably sounds like I weigh 1000 kilos but I swear I don't!
Maybe in a few years if I keep my eating habits up? ;)

I'm a quite outgoing and happy person that loves to laugh and have fun.
Love, love, love to meet new people and go out to dance!

On my spare time I hang out with my friends, go out for walks and play with my puppy and I also like to read and watch movies. My favourite movie so far is Donnie Darko.
I also like photography and I listen to alot of music, mostly rockmusic but I can listen to almost anything.

Oh yeah, I have a shitbull puppy (a pitbull mix) and he is almost 9 weeks old.
The old ladies in my village hate me for getting this dog, they think he'll eat their precious poodles. But he is so cute, just look at the pic! :)

Well, I have no clue what else to write so this will have to do for now.
Look forward to meeting all of you and hope you'll like Sweden!

By the way, do any of you have tattoos and how many of you like to cook and bake?

Hugs!
Christina

Hi!

My name is Sarah and I am 18 years old. I'm on my third and final year at Campeon Frigymnasium, which you probably already know. My favourit subjects in school are social science and history, including English (if Katharina is reading this.) I live in a small village outside of Helsingborg called Jonstorp. I live with my parents and my little sister. I'm half Malaysian, a quater German and a quater Swedish.

On my spare time I like to play tennis, just like Kristian, the diffrence is that Kristian is much better than I am. I also like to read books and look at movies. My favourit movies is Sin City and Pride & Prejudice. KISS is my favourit music band, but I listen to a lot of other music too. I like shopping to, especially clothes. After I've finished high school I would like to study law.

I'm looking forward to get to know you guys!
Sarah

Hi!

First of all I just want to say that my name is not Inga and I´m not blond or have gigantic tits. Actually, none is named Inga anymore, it´s just those old lovely ladies with walkers...

Well, now to me...

My name is Mariette Trempenau, I know, it´ain't a typical Swedish name but I´m raised and born in Sweden. Both my fore and last name come from France. And I have relatives in France, Greman and Danmark. My father is danish and my mother come from Sweden. But don't get impressed, I just know a little bit danish, little German and no French what so ever. And to get an idea what I look like, check out this picture:

I´m eighteen years old and I live in a small village outside Helsingborg were I go to school, at Campeon. In my village, named Åstorp everybody knows everyone and I live here with my older sister and my mum. I also have a little brother, but he´s moved away from home to play hockey at a higher level. Soon, we will be able to watch him play on TV in “Elitserien” witch it the biggest ice hockey series in Sweden and one of the best in the hole world. And if you ask me ice hockey´s the best sport of them all. You guys´re lucky because you can experiences, according to med the best hockey you can get, NHL.

Even though I love hockey I would never be able to play it, I literally look like Bambi on thin ice. Or you can put it in other words: I suck. But I have played another sport were I at least don´t look like a idiot. That sport´s floorball, (Google it) ´s a swedish sport and I´ve played it fore about four years. But at the moment, I can´t play because of illness so instead I spend time at photographing, witch has become a huge passion fore me. I also like to spend a lot of time in photoshop were I make dramatic changes; an exampel is when i made the hottie Megan Fox too an “Avatar”.

When I´m not traveling to see my brother play or taking pictures or getting lost in photoshop. I hang out with my friends, have cozy evenings with my boyfriend, partying, studying and just living. And of course I do just like EVERYBODY else, I spend to much time on “Facebook” so... if you have facebook, facebook me! It would be much more fun. But I think that our teachers will force us to continue write here on the blog, hehe.*

Too bad that we can´t go to USA, I have always wonder what it feels like to like the American dream...or play real beerpong.

PS. If you think my presentation was lame, ask me questions, made that will spice it up!

Love. MT.

Kristian Windahl has after many buts find his way the blog thanks to some non hostile classmates.

As I said my name is Kristian Windahl with the middle name Don and I’m from Sweden, living in the southern parts, although my heritage comes from the capitol, Stockholm. I really don’t have a picture of me but I guess Facebook could compensate for that. Until then my description of me have to do: I'm blond, about 180 centimeters tall (5,9 ft), my physical appearance and shape is not up to me to commentate so I’m leaving you to decide. I live outside the town of Helsingborg in a shitty suburb which I’m not very proud of and I have already looked up an apartment to live in after my parents are finished tormenting me.

I got a couple of hobbies, very much depending on the weather, but one that is and always has been (and probably always will be) is tennis. My entire life is inflicted by tennis of some sort, I’m both playing and teaching it right now and I’m planning to study a year in America and hopefully I could get play some tennis as well.

I don’t know if you Americans know this but most of our TV-channels air 80 per cent pure American programs there for my favorite TV-show is Scrubs – and yes I’ve always wanted to try an Appeltini and no I’m not gay! Other cultures participating in our Swedish society is music; my God, I know that Green Day have a new hit single you don’t have to rub it in my face (You don’t have to rub anything in my face for that matter).

Sports then: I don’t know that much about either baseball or basketball but hockey I’m found of, and by the way, the fact that Americans call football soccer is ridiculous, and you call a sport where you barley use your feet for football? Why? My favorite hockey team is the San Jose Sharks where among others Douglas Murray plays. I’ve never been to the states but when, because I will, I’m definitely going so see a game.

Okay my inspiration is lacking and it’s getting harder to come up with new stuff to write about so I will just stop there.

Greetings from Kristian W
